Get involved with your virtual community

The RCN International Humanitarian Community web page area is intended to be a community space,  shaped by its members.

If you have information you would like to see on your community pages then you can send it to international@rcn.org.uk

In this way, we hope to build a useful resource for community members.

Types of information you may wish to send are:

  • News
  • Events, conferences and meetings
  • Opinion
  • Feature articles
  • Consultation documents
  • Useful links
  • Resource materials (details of books, manuals, websites, etc.)
  • Anything else you feel may benefit members of the international humanitarian community.

Send all your information to the editor by emailing international@rcn.org.uk or calling +44 (0)20 7647 3598.

Community discussion area

The RCN International Humanitarian Community Discussion Zone is a place for you to interact with other community members, where you  can start a debate on any matter relevant to humanitarian and international development work. You are free to say what you want, but please adhere to our Acceptable Use Policy.

Please note, you have to be an RCN member to participate in the Discussion Zone, and you'll need your RCN membership number and password to hand. To join the RCN, or to check or change your details, you can visit MyRCN.

Future community developments - Facebook page?

Ideally we would like this space to be a conduit for communication between members of this virtual community. Please feel free to send in your ideas - all comments and contributions are welcome. If you're in favour of an RCN International Humanitarian Community Facebook page, please email international@rcn.org.uk to let us know. It may be an easier way for you to communicate with each other and share photos of your travels and experiences, but we would appreciate your views before developing a page. Thank you.
