RCN Congress is an annual event for RCN members to meet, learn, develop professionally and share excellent nursing practice. Around 4,000 delegates attend each year, and it is an opportunity for members inform the RCN agenda and influence nursing and health policies through debate.
RCN Congress, Exhibition and AGM 2016 will take place in Glasgow from Saturday 18 June to Wednesday 22 June 2016.
Further information about the event is available on the Congress 2016 website.
More about Congress
Debating the issues
Congress is the RCN's major annual debating forum. It provides RCN members with an annual opportunity to comment upon and influence Council policy, and to help inform the RCN's work for the coming year.
RCN members engage in key debates around nursing practice, public health, employment issues, the workings of the RCN and any other relevant topics. Issues debated at Congress frequently make the headlines - it's an opportunity for the world to listen to the voice of nursing.
Running alongside the business of Congress is a large programme of professional, educational and social events. Plus the UK's largest exhibition of nursing products and services also takes place during the week.
